The song and some other samples of poetry are just reflections of my thoughts at that time, i do like to write and feel confident enough now to be open to some ridicule and criticism from other people since it doesn’t change how i felt at the time neither my mindset.. Thank you so much for your appreciation.

Regarding Roy Hodgson i think a lot of players are unsure of exactly what changes he will bring but as soon as we get these friendlies out the way I’m sure everyone will settle and get behind him for the short term at least.. Well done to the FA for creating that stability needed for any team to prepare and go into a tournament, at least a decision has been made.

I view Alex McLeish a little like the Roy Hodgson situation and i always felt that Villa fans had ammunition for discontent almost preloaded (The Birmingham city connection)… therefore meaning that as soon as there was one bad result our responses would be at the ready… With Roy Hodgson it will no doubt be the “Harry Redknapp war cry” if things don’t quite go our way…
Alex Mcleish has been backed by the great Alex Ferguson so there should be some qualities there even if the league position says otherwise.

Darius – always a big risk revealing personal lyrics from a song – I am no expert, but its pretty impressive stuff.

I’m pleased with Hodgson and hope we have a good tournament. I haven’t seen much strong praise from established England players though, which is a small worry.

With Villa I think this year was always going to be hard. Coming 9th last season was always going to be hard to match, and so there appeared little motivation in the atmosphere. Next year, I think it will be easier. I also think if Villa get a new manager the fans will take to him better, whoever it is, as most will see it as an improvement on unpopular McLeish. Villa fans reaction which resulted in cancelling an interview with Steve McLaren for example, I think that was unfair and ultimately I wonder how many fans wished McLaren was now in charge!

I think if Villa can get Gabby and Bent back together they will have that attacking threat that so many teams fear, and a new season will give the rest of the team a fresh impetus to work together and provide the ammunition.. This season has been one to forget for us villains…

I hope you can get a game in for them before the end of season though.

It looks like villa hierarchy want stability and will stick with McLeish, he is obviously under heavy restrictions to improve the budget. Brett Holman looks a good bosman deal. I’d heard that a central defender, a defensive midfielder, a striker and a winger are all on the shopping list. But no idea on names. It’d be an interesting proposition if you came back here in fact!

Did you get to see Nathan Delfouneso at Leicester also? He didn’t score and I think that has harmed his reputation in a little way.

I was pleased to see you’d not rule out an overseas team again one day.

I would definetly go abroad again though, the experiences are too valuable and it really allows one to appreciate just how good we have it here. Ideally though , I would be playing abroad under different circumstances being able to express myself as an English bred player.

Villa should hopefully have a better season next term.. I wonder who they will buy?

Good to hear you playing golf tho bless, I swear them Turkish memoirs are revealing the truth behind the so called “glamour” of being a pro footballer. Im looking forward to Aprils..
